Someone mentioned that the Thief Trait is missing from ASOBH. It's because it is in Hammer and Forge. But of course everybody uses thieves, so its place is in the core book.
For the moment, and for those of you who do not have HaF platesting pdf, here is the unedited rule:
THIEF
The character is a skilled pickpocket. When the character is in melee contact with a figure, the Thief may spend one action and perform a Q roll on 3 dice to attempt a theft. The victim resists by making a Q roll on...

Good idea on the Ambush, I'd say the Thief gets a +1 to Q rolls if he has an Ambush bonus.
Everybody can loot a corpse! Maybe this should be specified somewhere in the rules... I need more pages :-)
